Day 39

"It is more noble to give your self completely to one person than to labor diligently for the salvation of the masses" - Dag Hammarskjold

Stephen Covey gives great context to this meaningful statement. “I take that to mean I can devote, 8, 10, 12 hours per week to the thousands of projects “out there” and still not have a deep meaningful relationship with my own spouse, with my own teenage son, with my closest working associate. And it would take more nobility of character - more humility, more courage, and strength - to rebuild that one relationship, than it would to continue to diligently work on all those projects and people “out there”.
